An odd follow on to Do Things My Way, considering Waiting For Our Time is very much more a 'love song' than anything.  But its not all that mushy as one might expect.  Its about waiting, and about patience for one's true rewards, this reward being love for a lifetime. And trust me, there is no greater reward.  *chuckle* And I've done my fair share of waiting, wondering, and yearning to get to certain points in my life.  This could also be construed into being about things other than love perhaps, but ultimately, love was the key thing I thought fo here.  Life, and all the good intagibles here.  The warm fuzzies, if you will. All good things worth it take some waiting and patience. Wether it be finally being together with the one you love, or even just going to your first Styx concert. *cough* [I waited a year and a half from when I knew BNW was coming out to see them.  Don't talk to me about patience.]

On a more technical side, I adore the guitaring here.  And the bass line towards the end when everything isn't going during that last round of chorusing... I thought that was well done. [Just noticed it. o.O  Amazing what you miss sometimes....]  Also of note is the yummy chorus vocals blending and intertwining. The song itself starts light, instrumentally, and kicks in fullbore at the chorus and never stops really until it hits the last chorus, and even then it does recollect. The end fade-out is nice, too.
