What its About: A story - one about a musician framed and locked away, the fight for rock-n-roll and freedom, and other subtext lying about.  If you have the album, you'd know the backstory.

Overall Impressions: A hit-or-miss album with people I know.  Either you love it, or you hate it.  I love it, thuogh I can do without some of it. The major saving grace IMHO of Kilroy is track 6, Just Get Through This Night - one of the most brilliant and moving pieces ever, and something I demand EVERYONE hear once in their lives. I admit I ahve a slight personal bias [not sharing the tale] for it, but honestly, I think its one of the greatest "hidden gems" Styx has in its plethora of songs.  Also on my preferred KWH tracks is Cold War [just like it], Heavy Metal Poisoning [XD], Double Life [sometimes - about 75% of the time], Haven't we Been Here Before [another fave], Mr. Roboto [NOT because its cheesy 80's-tyle] and to a lesser degree, High Time. I'm not a big fan of Don't Let it End [just because I'm not] and iffy on High Time - depends on my mood.  And reprises... eh. X_x I do like Kilroy though, and it ought to be heard - even if only for a few tracks.
