What its About: Life, in its myriad of ways, the ups and downs, the light and dark, the here and there.  The rise and fall of a great theatre in Chicago that can epitomize and refect our own lives.

Overall Impressions: Paradise Theatre can at least hold its own compared to Cornerstone, and ranks neat Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight overall. I'd put it right around Pieces of Eight, honestly.  It has quite a few good songs, including Rockin' the Paradise, Too Much Time, Snowblind, Nothing Ever Goes as Planned, The Best of Times, and Half-Penny, Two Penny.  She Cares is ok - if you're not snickering too hard at it.  I like it, but... I know some don't. Lovely People's actually pretty good, I'm just so-so on it overall, with touch-and-go listening. That covers the actual FULL tracks, as the last three feel more like "filler"/add-ons to me. I guess I would have just rpefered 1928 to just be ONE with ROckin' at least, as well as 58 to HP-TP and yeah, maybe let Sadie close up on its own like it does.  It makes random playa pain in the arse, which I like to do to mix things up while listening to them when I do things. PT si good; another core Styx album IMO for someone wanting to get to know Styx - if you can look past a few tracks that are qustionable.
